Jordan Palmer

Jordan Palmer is a professional basketball player who played for the Los Angeles Lakers and Bost on Celtics. Palmer was drafted third overall in the 2001 NBA Draft by the Lakers, but he never made it to the league. After playing college ball for the University of Memphis, Palmer was signed by the Celtics in 2003. He spent most of his time with the Celtics, but he was called to the Lakers in 2006. He played in 58 games with the Lakers, averaging 5.8 points and 2. 2 rebounds per game. He also played in 58 games with the Celticsaveraging 6.7 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. The Celtics could not keep him after the season as he had a declined $3.1 million option on his contract.

Jordan Palmer, who played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat in his career, has decided to stay in basketball. Palmer is a transfer from Palmar College, a small school in California. He is not only transferring to a college for which he may have had less competition, but he is also transferring to a program coached by Rick Majerus. Majerus was once the assistant coach at Michigan State University. 

He has worked with many high-level players, such as LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. This shows that Majerus knows what he is doing. Palmar College didn’t have an opportunity to get on Majerus’ radar when he was coaching at Michigan State, but now that he is working with Palmer, they will be able to make him a part of their team.

Jordan Palmer’s career:

Palmer began his basketball career playing for the University of Kentucky Wildcats in 1992. He went on to play for several teams before being drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the 1993 NBA Draft. In 1995, Palmer joined the Los Angeles Clippers and has been a part of the organization ever since. He has played for several teams, including the Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks. Palmer played in the NBA Developmental League for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, and Charlotte Bobcats. He was named to the D-League All-Star Team in 2007 and 2008. Palmer has also been a member of Team USA’s national team.

Jordan Palmer’s professional career has spanned over ten years and has included stints as a player for the Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors, and Portland Trail Blazers. In his career, Palmer has played in 548 games and is currently an assistant coach with the Sixers. A.J. Price played for the Philadelphia 76ers from 2010-2013 and was an NBA All-Star in 2012 and 2013. He is also a member of the New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Price played for the Philadelphia 76ers from 2010-2013 and was an NBA All-Star in 2012 and 2013. He is also a member of the New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskins drafted Palmer in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft with the 205th pick overall. On August 4, 2007, the Baltimore Ravens hosted the Redskins in a preseason game in Baltimore. Their only score of the scrimmage was on a 24-yard touchdown pass from Palmer to rookie wide receiver Burl Toler. On September 2, 2007, the Redskins waived Palmer.

Arizona Rattlers

On November 6, 2007, Palmer signed a contract with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League for the 2008 season.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals Palmer signed on January 30, 2008, with a two-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals. This was the first time in NFL history that a brother pair of quarterbacks were on the same roster simultaneously. Koy and Ty Detmer were also on the same Philadelphia Eagles depth chart, though Ty was on injured reserve.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert signed with the Jaguars on May 7, 2012, was exhausted during the preseason stay with the team, and was reinstated on November 21, 2012, after he was placed on injured reserve. He was later released.

Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears quarterback Jim Palmer signed a contract with the team on August 16, 2013, after his backup quarterback, Matt Blanchard, broke his hand. Palmer previously worked out with the Bears during the 2013 offseason.

Buffalo Bills

Buffalo Bills On August 25, 2014, Palmer signed with the Buffalo Bills, but he also was released on August 29.

Tennessee Titans

In December 2014, Palmer signed with the Titans for the remainder of the season after Jake Locker was placed on injured reserve. He made more than $67,000 for that.

Jordan Palmer Coaching Career:

Jordan Palmer is a former football player and coach who has worked his way up the coaching ladder. Palmer’s lengthy coaching career began with the Philadelphia Eagles (now the Los Angeles Rams). He first worked under Jim Fassel with the Eagles before moving on to take over as head coach in 2009. Under Palmer’s guidance, the Eagles made it to Super Bowl XLVII, where Baltimore Ravens defeated them. In 2013, Palmer was named head coach of the Denver Broncos. The Broncos made it to Super Bowl 50, where New England Patriots defeated them.

In early 2014, Palmer worked as a quarterbacks coach at EXOS, an NFL Draft training center in Carlsbad, California. As the founder of Q.B. Summit, an in-person Orange County, California, quarterback consulting program and online digital platform, Palmer tutored players including Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, Joe Burrow, Kyle Allen, and Bo Nix.

XFL:

In August 2022, Palmer was named Director of Quarterback Development for the benefit of the XFL.

Jordan Palmer is a professional basketball player. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee and now calls himself the “Most Valuable Player” of the Memphis Grizzlies.
